About The Position

Director of Customer Service The Director of Customer Service is responsible for overseeing the customer service department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to customers. This role involves developing and implementing customer service policies, managing the customer service team, and driving initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. The Director of Customer Service collaborates with other departments to align customer service strategies with overall business goals. Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management position
  • Experience in building and leading high-performing team

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement customer service policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
  • Lead, manage, and mentor the customer service team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development
  • Monitor and analyze customer service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and product development, to address customer feedback and align service strategies with business objectives
  • Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Supports GEODIS’ programs for Safety, Health, Environment, Qualit, Ethics, Compliance, CSR and Sustainability
  • Other duties as required and assigned
