About The Position

The Director of Curriculum Product Strategy is responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and roadmap for curriculum products that drive learner success and organizational growth. This role bridges market insights, customer needs, instructional design, and business objectives to create innovative, scalable curriculum solutions. The Director partners with cross-functional teams—including product management, academics, research, technology, and marketing—to ensure products are high quality, future-ready, and aligned to standards and learner outcomes.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of related professional experience, 5+ years managing specific area.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in a relevant field.
  • Recognized industry certification in Product Management.
  • Experience launching 0>1 products to B2C and B2B market.
  • Strong understanding of user engagement strategies and tactics.
  • Proven success driving change management for new product features among existing customers.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in product management.
  • Prior experience developing education technology products.
  • Experience developing data products and working with AI services and architecture frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the long-term strategy for curriculum product innovation and lifecycle management.
  • Identify emerging trends in education, technology, and instructional design to inform product direction.
  • Align curriculum strategy with company goals, customer needs, and market opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps for curriculum solutions across grade bands and subjects.
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering to guide product requirements and ensure curriculum effectiveness.
  • Balance instructional integrity, user experience, and scalability.
  • Conduct and analyze market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to shape product decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure curriculum products meet customer needs and differentiate in the market.
  • Work closely with curriculum developers, subject matter experts, and educators to ensure standards alignment and academic rigor.
  • Partner with research and data teams to measure product impact and drive evidence-based improvements.
  • Support business development with product expertise and strategy alignment.
  • Serve as a thought leader internally and externally on curriculum innovation, future of learning, and product strategy.
  • Mentor and develop team members to strengthen organizational capability in curriculum strategy.
