Job Description: We are hiring a Director to lead HPE’s CSP business and product strategy — a “business-in-a-box” leader who blends product vision, partner/ecosystem development, and commercial program execution. This role owns the end-to-end strategy to enable CSPs to deploy, monetize, and scale on-premises cloud offerings, and will run the cross‑functional program that supports CSP go-to-market, operations, and partner success. This role could be based anywhere in the United States

Requirements

  • Technical Depth: While this is a business-heavy role, you should be fluent in IaaS architecture, virtualization, and the "Managed Services" layer (DBaaS, DRaaS, Security-as-a-Service).
  • The Pedigree: 10+ years of leadership experience at VMware, Red Hat, Nutanix, or a Hyperscaler (AWS/Azure/GCP) specifically within Partner, Managed Services, or Cloud Provider divisions.
  • The Hybrid Mindset: You must understand the CAPEX vs. OPEX transition and how CSPs calculate their Internal Rate of Return (IRR) on hardware/software stacks.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience building a partner program from $0 to $50M+ in recurring revenue is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap: Act as the "Voice of the Provider." You will prioritize features in HPE CloudOps software such as: Multi-tenancy Self-service portals and API-first orchestration. Sovereign controls IaaS including Kubernetes and Containers
  • Business Model & Commercial Strategy: Define tiered pricing models, revenue-share structures, and "Marketplace" monetization strategies for managed services
  • Program Leadership: Build and run the HPE CSP program. You will lead the cross-functional "Tiger Team" across Sales, Support, and Marketing to address unique requirements of CSPs.
  • Ecosystem & GTM Alignment: Develop the "Sell-Through" motion. Help our CSP partners market their clouds to end-users by providing technical validation designs and joint marketing funds (MDF).
  • Operational Enablement: Define the support experience for CSPs (SLA requirements, 24/7 mission-critical escalation paths) which differ significantly from standard corporate IT support.
