About The Position

The Director of Critical Care with Mission Hospital will direct area operations, programs, and activities consistent with Mission Hospital's objectives and in alignment with the strategic plan. The Director retains responsibility and accountability for the nursing practice model and promotes research while integrating evidence-based practice into clinical, operational, and leadership processes.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Nursing or BSN with MBA, MHA or other related healthcare degree.
• National Nursing Leadership Certification is required within one year of accepting the role.
• RN & BLS license required.
• Three years of progressive leadership experience.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail.

Nice To Haves

• MSN preferred.
• Five years of progressive leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct area operations, programs, and activities consistent with Mission Hospital's objectives.
• Retain responsibility and accountability for the nursing practice model.
• Promote research and integrate evidence-based practice into clinical, operational, and leadership processes.
• Integrate clinical, human resource, and financial data to support decision making.
