About The Position

The Creative Director: Digital Design at AbbVie is responsible for conceiving, designing, and developing high-quality digital and interactive deliverables that support business objectives across the enterprise. This role involves managing digital projects from concept to completion, leading a team of creative professionals, and ensuring the quality of work produced by the digital design team. The Creative Director must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and project management skills while maintaining awareness of current design trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Graphic Design, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of combined experience as a Creative Director, Art Director, or in a similar role in an advertising or interactive agency.
  • Strong technical expertise in digital design software, including Adobe Creative Suite, PhotoShop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience in 2D or 3D animation/rendering, video production and editing, and interactive design.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all digital design projects and enhances the quality and creativity of work produced.
  • Manages digital projects from concept to completion, translating marketing objectives into creative strategies.
  • Maintains awareness of current design trends and technologies for digital design initiatives.
  • Develops solid client relations and communicates design concepts effectively.
  • Manages time efficiently, juggling multiple client deadlines and overseeing external partners when necessary.
  • Ensures the overall quality of work produced by the digital design team across various platforms.
  • Leads design solutions and creative development throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrates technical expertise in digital design software and tools.
  • Presents strategy and design concepts to clients at all levels.
