About The Position

Nanit is seeking an experienced Director, Creative Design to lead the visual identity, art direction, photo and asset production for our parenting platform. This role will oversee end-to-end creative execution, ensuring our brand is visually compelling, emotionally resonant, and optimized for performance across all channels. You'll drive storytelling that speaks to modern families, balancing brand-building with data-driven decision-making to create high-impact, results-oriented design. Reporting into the VP of Brand & Creative, this role will oversee a team of designers and will be a highly cross functional partner to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven design experience in leadership roles in consumer-facing, digital-first environment, ideally within a tech-enable or lifestyle-focused brand.
  • Proven experience leading and managing internal and external design teams, with a strong portfolio demonstrating leadership across multiple disciplines.
  • Exceptional creative vision and deep understanding of brand identity creation and high-impact, performance-driven creative work across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Expertise in art direction, photography, video production, and cross-channel design.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion optimization, and customer engagement strategies.
  • A self-starter that's excited to join and contribute to a mission driven company.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and emerging creative technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creative vision, art direction, and design strategy, ensuring brand consistency across marketing, product, content, and social.
  • Develop performance-driven creative that optimizes engagement, conversion, and brand love.
  • Lead photo and video production, from concept development to execution, creating assets that resonate with parents and drive action.
  • Oversee design across multiple touchpoints, including website, email, paid media, social, and in-app experiences.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing creative team including two direct reports and a roster of freelance talent.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Growth and Product teams to align creative execution with business objectives.
  • Translate brand vision and platform into compelling, customer-first design solutions.
  • Develop and implement best practices for design, creative testing, and optimization to ensure continual improvement.
  • Stay ahead of cultural, industry, and technological trends, including AI-driven creative tools, to enhance efficiency and impact.
