Requirements

CPA license in good standing with at least 8 years of tax preparation experience across partnerships, corporations, and individual returns
5+ years in a leadership or senior management role
A degree in accounting or an undergraduate degree with sufficient accounting coursework required
Experience researching tax issues, formulating strategies, and preparing financial statements, including preparations, compilations, and reviews on both income tax and GAAP basis.

Responsibilities

Oversee complex tax and advisory engagements, reviewing preparation work for compliance and accuracy while ensuring client strategy alignment.
Lead, coach, & develop preparers for efficiency and growth, finalizing and signing returns and financial statements.
Resolve complex accounting and tax issues while serving as the primary contact for key clients and delivering strategic guidance.
Expand client relationships, pursue new business opportunities, and represent the firm at networking events and community gatherings.
Prepare proposals for prospective clients and stay current on industry and regulatory developments.
Work full-time hours, averaging 55-70 during tax season and 40-45 outside of tax season.
