About The Position
Wellmark is seeking a Director of Security to lead our security operations and drive a culture of safety and awareness. In this key role, you will oversee the security of Wellmark’s facilities, personnel, and leadership, monitoring and mitigating potential threats and safety matters, and ensuring Wellmark’s compliance with federal, state, and industry requirements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a customer service orientation, exceptional communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships across departments and with external partners to ensure a comprehensive, integrated safety strategy. You are committed to service – educating and empowering teams to prioritize safety and security at every level. If you have a proven track record of leading security teams, developing comprehensive safety plans, and fostering a customer and workforce focused environment, we want to hear from you.
