Director, Corporate Development Summary: The Director, Corporate Development has three main responsibilities. First, the role drives key strategic initiatives and corporate strategy, from initial ideation through to execution, and plays a pivotal role in the company’s mid-term strategic planning. Second, the role supports the Corpay’s M&A strategy by leading key workstreams in the deal process. Last, the role helps refine and improve Corpay’s positioning with investors and other key constituents. Specific responsibilities include: Creating fact base and business analytics to support growth initiatives Creating market sizing, growth perspectives and competitive analysis to identify and drive inorganic growth opportunitiesFacilitating mid-term (3 year) growth planning process, including leading planning off-site with top executives Fostering effective and productive relationships with key global stakeholders … eg, LOB senior execs, strategy leads, product teams, IT Managing relationships with external partners, including new product or sales initiatives Summarizing and improving Corpay’s strategy externally (e.g., for investors) Delivering timely, high quality special project work (eg, competitor profiles, business analyses, forecasts, etc) Driving research and thought leadership to support operational best practices
