About The Position
Reporting to the Head of Business Line Communications, Manulife Wealth and Asset Management (Manulife WAM), the Head of Communications Manulife WAM’s Global Retirement Business will be responsible for building, connecting, and driving the communications strategy to support the business, visibility, and team-building goals of the Global Retirement business (which operates in Canada, the United States, and Asia, with approximately 5000 employees globally). This role will be responsible for developing communications strategies that articulate the strategic objectives of this business internally to connect colleagues to our overarching Manulife Investment Management objectives, and externally to protect and enhance our reputation with the media, advisors, and other audiences. In the execution of your responsibilities, this position will be a member of Manulife WAM’s Global Communications team and will work closely with other members of the Manulife Investment Management communications team, as well as Communications Global Practice Areas (media relations, events, thought leadership, issues management, content) to drive initiatives forward and ensure continuous improvement of our work.
