The Booking Holdings Inc. (BHI) Corporate Business Development department is responsible for generating, executing and managing our most complex and high impact partnerships. This includes managing relationships and negotiations which may be unconventional in nature, need a centralized advocate, and/or have broader implications to multiple BHI brands. The Director Corporate Business Development will report directly to the VP of Corporate Business Development and will be responsible for pioneering, structuring and leading the most strategic and impactful partnerships for BHI or one or more of our brands. The successful candidate will have a rare blend of executive strategic vision, extensive deal-doing experience at a global scale, and the proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional product and engineering stakeholders to own outcomes. This is a highly collaborative role which requires a great communicator with executive presence – someone who is customer oriented, exercises sound judgment and can create clarity and action in ambiguous situations. We are looking for a thought leader with a deep understanding of GenAI technology and landscape who is excited about the opportunity to define new opportunities for our customers and businesses in a data-driven and collaborative environment - helping achieve our mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience (Corporate Development, Strategic Business Development, Investment Banking, Entrepreneurship).
  • Strategic problem solver with a creative mind, who does not shy away from a challenge.
  • A track record of successfully negotiating large-scale, transformative technology or strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the GenAI technology.
  • A passion for our customers, positive attitude, high level of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and comfort leading through ambiguity.
  • Proven executive level business judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across the world.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with financial analysis.
  • Excellent writing, communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

  • MBA from a top-tier program is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead strategic initiatives that align with the long-term strategies of BHI and our brands.
  • Source, structure, negotiate, and personally oversee the execution of high-stakes, multi-brand partnerships that have a disproportionate impact on BHI brands typically in terms of customer acquisition, revenue generation or product enhancements.
  • Maintain a leading-edge perspective on the GenAI technology landscape and how it will fundamentally change travel research and booking behaviors, integrating this vision into BHI’s corporate strategy.
  • Cultivate and influence relationships with Senior Executive Stakeholders across BHI and our brands.
  • Establish and manage key relationships with outside organizations, including earlier stage, high-potential companies in relevant sectors, acting as a primary external representative of BHI.
  • Develop and deliver C-level executive-level presentations on strategy, priorities and impact, communicating recommendations in a clear, concise and impactful way.
  • Manage day-to-day activities including but not limited to project and pipeline tracking and reporting.
