Director Corporate Accounting
About The Position
The CentraCare Director of Corporate Accounting will be accountable for accounting operations of CentraCare entities, to include maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of reported internal and external financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. The director will plan, monitor, maintain, and improve accounting department functions and processes for CentraCare. Schedule Full time | 80 hours every two weeks Monday-Friday | day shift | 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. This will be a hybrid position to include work from home and on-site at South Point Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $145,282.58 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience. Salary range: $145,282.58 - $217,945.78 per year Salary and salary range are based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate Full time benefit eligible: benefits Retirement with matching, up to 7.5% Qualifications Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university required; Master’s degree preferred. CPA – Certified Public Accountant (active or inactive) required. Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience required. Minimum of 4 years of public accounting experience required. Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience required. Experience in creating and working with computerized spreadsheets and databases, and familiarity with data processing capabilities and procedures needed. Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP is required, with expertise in technical accounting, internal controls and reporting. Effective at communicating with all levels of the organization, including senior management. Ability to present complex analysis in a concise and meaningful manner to senior executives and members of Governance. CentraCare has made a commitment to diversity in its workforce.
