About The Position

As the Director of Contract Development, you will be responsible for leading the contract development process to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction. Your role will involve overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial negotiation and to document execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, sales, and project management, to develop and implement contract strategies that align with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in contract development, negotiation, and management, preferably within the wireless infrastructure or telecommunications industry
  • Strong knowledge of contract processes, commercial terms, and legal principles related to contract drafting and negotiation
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and optimizing contract development tools or technologies to improve drafting efficiency, governance, and compliance
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, decision-making, and problem-solving
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to drive results through accountability to align contract development activities with overall business objectives
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in law, business administration, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in contract development roles, preferably within the telecommunications industry required
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams

  • Create contract processes that enable ease, speed and predictability
  • Champion the introduction and enhancement of technology solutions to maximize the efficiency of the department and achievement of business goals and objectives
  • Ensure operational excellence by owning and driving the leasing process
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes reduce manual intervention
  • Ensure alignment between commercial and customer needs to meet objectives especially when interests conflict
