About The Position

Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. We ignite the passions of global sports fans and maximize the presence and reach for our hundreds of sports partners globally by offering products and services across Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, and Fanatics Betting & Gaming, allowing sports fans to Buy, Collect, and Bet. Through the Fanatics platform, sports fans can buy licensed fan gear, jerseys, lifestyle and streetwear products, headwear, and hardgoods; collect physical and digital trading cards, sports memorabilia, and other digital assets; and bet as the company builds its Sportsbook and iGaming platform. Fanatics has an established database of over 100 million global sports fans; a global partner network with approximately 900 sports properties, including major national and international professional sports leagues, players associations, teams, colleges, college conferences and retail partners, 2,500 athletes and celebrities, and 200 exclusive athletes; and over 2,000 retail locations, including its Lids retail stores. The Director, Continuous Improvement role is responsible for defining and leading the enterprise-wide continuous improvement strategy across operations within Fanatics Collect. This role serves as a senior leader and subject-matter expert, driving large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives that materially improve throughput, quality, cost efficiency, and long-term scalability. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and strategic influence, this role is accountable for designing and institutionalizing scalable systems, processes, and operating models. The Director partners closely with Operations, Product, Technology, and executive stakeholders to shape strategy, optimize end-to-end workflows, and deliver sustained, measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or continuous improvement roles
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level, cross-functional transformation initiatives with measurable impact
  • Deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies, with experience applying them at scale
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to design and implement scalable, end-to-end operational solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across large organizations
  • Experience building and scaling performance systems and driving adoption across multiple teams and functions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high-volume, process-driven, or automated environments
  • Familiarity with WMS, workflow tools, and operational technologies
  • Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams to deliver system-enabled process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the continuous improvement vision and multi-year strategy across operations
  • Identify systemic inefficiencies and architect scalable, enterprise-level solutions that drive step-change improvements
  • Establish and institutionalize standardized operating models, playbooks, and best practices across the network
  • Lead a portfolio of complex, high-impact, cross-functional transformation initiatives from ideation through enterprise rollout
  • Translate business objectives into strategic roadmaps with clear prioritization, milestones, and measurable outcomes
  • Drive execution through executive influence, cross-functional alignment, and robust program governance
  • Design and scale KPI frameworks that provide visibility into throughput, quality, cost, and operational efficiency across the organization
  • Build and embed mechanisms for real-time performance management, root cause analysis, and continuous optimization
  • Establish and lead operating rhythms that reinforce accountability, transparency, and data-driven decision-making at all levels
  • Partner with Operations, Product, and Technology leadership to influence system architecture, tooling strategy, and automation roadmaps
  • Drive seamless end-to-end workflow integration across functions to eliminate friction and unlock efficiency
  • Shape and prioritize initiatives that enable scalable growth, improved customer experience, and operational leverage
  • Serve as the organizational leader in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Build and develop continuous improvement capabilities across the organization, including mentoring leaders and practitioners
  • Champion a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and structured problem-solving at scale
  • Deliver significant, measurable improvements in cost, cycle time, quality, and operational scalability
  • Enable operational readiness for rapid growth, new product lines, and evolving business models
  • Influence and contribute to long-term operational strategy and enterprise transformation initiatives
