About The Position

As the Director of Content and Communications at Rithum, you will define and execute a comprehensive content strategy that drives demand generation, public relations, and thought leadership. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to ensure impactful content and communications that align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing and communications experience, with at least 3 years in senior roles within high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
  • Proven expertise in content strategy and creation, with a strong track record of developing materials that drive demand and align with marketing objectives.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, including experience crafting executive-level presentations and thought leadership content.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms for scaling content production.
  • Experience managing cross-functional global teams, especially for SaaS companies operating internationally.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in agency settings or SaaS industries, with exposure to high-velocity and enterprise go-to-market motions.
  • Knowledge of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) practices to align content with enterprise sales efforts.
  • Experience with rebranding efforts, particularly during periods of transformation or expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate existing assets and architect a content strategy that spans the marketing funnel, driving engagement across channels, including the website and social media.
  • Oversee high-impact content creation, including whitepapers, blog posts, case studies, and executive communications, to drive pipeline growth and brand affinity.
  • Align content with lead-generation efforts and go-to-market plans in collaboration with demand generation, product marketing, and sales teams.
  • Incorporate SEO optimization into content strategies to ensure discoverability and drive traffic growth.
  • Emphasize localization or personalization of content to cater to global or segmented audiences.
  • Define and lead clear business-impact targets for content strategies.
  • Monitor content performance across channels, leveraging content performance platforms (e.g., Marketo, Google Analytics) to optimize for engagement and effectiveness.
  • Implement KPIs to measure content impact, engagement, and ROI.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, including PR and media outreach, to amplify the company's brand presence and position it as an industry innovator.
  • Foster relationships with press, analysts, and influencers to deliver consistent, impactful storytelling.
  • Proactively identify emerging industry trends to position the company as a forward-thinking leader.
  • Oversee executive communications, including keynote speeches, thought leadership articles, and high-stakes presentations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of content and communications professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Establish workflows to ensure the timely delivery of impactful content.
  • Promote scalable content practices by leveraging templates and AI tools without compromising creativity.
  • Demonstrate budget management experience to effectively oversee content production costs or PR/marketing budgets.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and partners.
  • Maintain content governance to ensure consistency and high standards across the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with customer success teams to create customer advocacy stories or case studies.
