Working with faculty, directs, develops and oversees the Masters of Science Program in Computer Science in the areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, human language technology, human computer interaction, data mining, database, privacy, and high-end computing. Responsible for program design and implementation. Direct strategic planning and implementation for the program. Manage program operations to ensure program quality. Oversee student engagement and progress. May oversee and/or teach one or more courses. Contributes to course content taught in the program. Address student learning concerns. Cultivate and oversee global industry partnerships for the program. Identifies program faculty and industry-relevant team projects for students. Responsible for mentoring course directors and program faculty instructors. Responsible for developing/maintaining a project mentor roster from the industry/academia. Provide/foster student connections with Atlanta area and national employers. Participate in associated administration of a Laney Graduate School program. Maintain associated academic program accreditations. May supervise staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.

  • Master's degree or equivalent, advanced degree related to the program work
