About The Position

The Director of Compliance Operations provides leadership and operational oversight for key components of Children's Mercy's Corporate Compliance Program. This role supports the Chief Compliance & Audit Officer in ensuring the organization maintains an effective, enterprise-wide compliance program consistent with Office of Inspector General (OIG) guidance, applicable federal and state healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and Children's Mercy policies. The Director serves as a strategic partner to clinical, operational, research, and administrative leaders, promoting a strong culture of compliance, ethics, and accountability across Children's Mercy Hospital, the physician enterprise, and affiliated entities.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
• Or Bachelor's Degree Healthcare administration, business, nursing, public health, law, or a related field required
• 5-7 years progressive experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory, audit, or related roles within a healthcare organization.

Nice To Haves

• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) Preferred
