About The Position

We're seeking a strategic and innovative communications leader to drive multi-channel activation and experimentation across Walmart's existing pharmacy and vision businesses as well as emerging businesses including Walmart Health and Walmart Everyday Health Signals (EHS). This role will lead the development and execution of integrated communication strategies that enhance patient engagement, support business growth, and enable cross-functional alignment. The ideal candidate will combine strategic storytelling, growth marketing, channel expertise and a test-and-learn mindset to optimize outreach and deliver measurable impact across every touchpoint. This role is based in Bentonville, AR and will report to the Senior Director of Data Analytics and Business Solutions. About the Digital Business Services Team We are a high-impact team at the forefront of business enablement innovation solution in healthcare. We are driving scalable business and data solutions across Walmart Health and Wellness to harness data-driven insights, improve patient engagement, and drive innovation across the health journey.

Requirements

10+ years of progressive experience in strategic communications, marketing, or brand strategy, with deep multi-channel leadership
Expertise in campaign development, digital activation, and message testing/optimization
Expertise in healthcare, pharmacy, or retail communications (preferred)
Ability to translate insights into action with a strong analytical mindset
Demonstrated success leading teams through innovation and change
Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Business, or related field (master's preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field and 5 years’ experience in public relations, communications, or relevant area OR 7 years’ experience in public relations, communications, or relevant area.
2 years’ supervisory experience or experience leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee the multi-channel communications strategy supporting Walmart Pharmacy, Vision, WHRI, and EHS business enablement initiatives.
Design, implement, and manage campaigns across SMS, email, and app channels.
Ensure consistent messaging and tone that reinforce Walmart's healthcare mission, vision, and brand voice.
Devise and implement customer segmentation and deep personalization
Leverage analytics and insights to optimize performance across platforms.
Build a robust test, measure, and learn framework for communications effectiveness (A/B testing, personalization, channel mix optimization).
Champion experimentation practices to refine content, delivery methods, and emerging technologies (AI-driven communications, interactive content, etc.).
Establish routines and forums to align cross-functional stakeholders on campaign priorities, timing, and messaging consistency.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on communication trends, risks, and opportunities.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing communications team while fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
