Director, Global Communications – eCommerce & Marketplace Location: Bentonville, AR As a key leader within Walmart’s U.S. eCommerce Communications team, you’ll help define and lead the storytelling for Walmart’s end-to-end eCommerce experience—where Marketplace, first-party (1P) items, digital innovation, and physical stores come together. From seller-powered assortment and Walmart Fulfillment Services to AI-driven experiences like Sparky, virtual try-on, and seamless store-connected shopping, you’ll bring to life how Walmart delivers convenience, value, and innovation at unmatched scale. Your work will position Walmart as a leader in omnichannel retail—showcasing how our eCommerce platform and nearly 5,000 U.S. stores work together to create experiences competitors simply can’t replicate. About the Team The eCommerce Communications team sits within Walmart’s broader Global Communications organization and is at the center of how we tell Walmart’s digital retail story. We connect customers, sellers, associates, and stakeholders to the technology, people, and platforms powering Walmart.com and the Walmart app—from Marketplace and 1P assortment to AI-powered discovery, blended digital and in-store experiences, and seller innovation. Working closely with partners across eCommerce, Marketplace, Merchandising, Operations, Technology, Product, and Corporate Affairs, we craft narratives that highlight how Walmart’s unique omnichannel model drives better experiences for customers and better outcomes for sellers and associates.
