About The Position

You will lead the charge in protecting sensitive data and safeguarding our clients' information by driving our cybersecurity engineering initiatives. You will be pivotal in designing and implementing advanced security measures, ensuring our systems, data, and infrastructure are resilient to potential threats. Leading a dedicated team of cybersecurity engineers, you will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deploy robust security solutions that meet the highest standards of protection and compliance.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • 5+ years in cloud and enterprise security architecture.
  • Demonstrated success leading security architecture for financial services, banks, or regulated industries.
  • Technical expertise in securing GCP, AWS, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), Azure, cloud networking, and Application Security.
  • Strong command of cloud-native technologies and SecDevOps practices.
  • Experience with regulatory audits and control frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, FFIEC CAT).
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional teams, architecture review boards, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Ability to develop working relationships and manage multiple activities and changing priorities, work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered.

  • Google Cloud Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, CKA/CKS, GCSA CISA, CISM, or similar certifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for cybersecurity engineering efforts across the organization.
  • Partner, coach and functionally lead Cloud Security engineering, development, and business teams through collaborative design discussions.
  • Assess security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices across all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review security data and tool outputs to identify control gaps, policy deviations, and threats to continuously enhance security controls.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes and protocols.
