About The Position

The Director, Clinical Transformation will lead the transformation of Sam’s Club Hearing Center and other developing healthcare business lines. This leader owns the merchant strategy (with one current direct report), operations model/performance, compliance, billing, vendor management, and financial outcomes. The role is responsible for modernizing our healthcare models while ensuring regulatory rigor and delivering high-quality care to our members. This position is based on-site in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Requirements

  • You have deep healthcare contracting, healthcare finance, and operations experience
  • You have led a clinical business such as a lab, dialysis center, specialty clinic, or retail healthcare environment
  • You understand government and commercial billing practices and healthcare compliance requirements
  • You have strong knowledge of HIPAA, billing compliance, and state and federal regulatory standards
  • You bring strong financial acumen, including advanced financial modeling and labor planning experience
  • You are a collaborative, influential leader who can drive change across cross-functional stakeholders
  • You have experience managing vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and performance governance
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Business, healthcare administration, nursing, or area and 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in healthcare,clinical operations and transformation, or related area.
  • Option 2: Master’s degree from accredited physician assistant program and 5 years’ experience in a leadership role in healthcare, clinicaloperations and transformation, or related area.
  • Option 3: 7 years’ experience in healthcare, clinical operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end Hearing Center operations and financial performance
  • Lead other healthcare transformation initiatives to improve execution, productivity, and service quality
  • Oversee labor strategy and workforce planning when applicable, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and state and federal healthcare regulations
  • Drive government and commercial billing excellence and audit readiness
  • Own P&L performance, financial modeling, and forecasting
  • Lead how Sam’s Club interacts with applicable vendor partners, including contract negotiation and performance management
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Field Leadership
