About The Position

The position is responsible for the overall management of Anesthesia On Call’s (AOC) Locum Tenens recruitment team, focusing on the recruitment and placement of Anesthesia Clinicians in client services. The role involves leading a team of recruiters, developing strategic sourcing strategies, managing KPIs and compensation, and collaborating with various departments including Operations, Sales, and Account Management. The manager will also handle candidate and client relationship issues, ensuring effective recruitment processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of healthcare staffing experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with ability to manage objections and navigate complex negotiations.
  • Experience in mentoring or training new hires and managing key client accounts preferred.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and/or ATS systems, with strong preference for Bullhorn.
  • Experience leading large-scale business transformation programs or implementations preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, including hospital executives.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the enterprise function in recruiting and sourcing candidates for AOC through best practice methodologies.
  • Strategically directs the AOC recruitment team through planning, development, implementation, and relationship maintenance.
  • Responsible for the selection, hiring, and training of staff personnel within the team, including performance evaluation and retention.
  • Sets and manages performance expectations of staff, training, motivating, and encouraging professional growth.
  • Conducts recruitment team meetings including weekly standups, strategy meetings, training, evaluations, and feedback sessions.
  • Monitors and evaluates recruitment activity through the Bullhorn CRM to maximize recruitment outcomes.
  • Assesses, plans, and directs services collaboratively according to organizational policies and operational plans.
  • Develops and recommends strategies to support and enhance company policies and programs.
  • Builds effective relationships and responds quickly to customer recruitment opportunities, ensuring seamless execution of business processes.
  • Adjusts recruitment strategy based on continuous assessment of client needs.
  • Maintains accountability for all aspects of the program, including resource and expenditure management within budgetary standards.
  • Adheres to annual goals and builds team strategies and culture to achieve targets.
  • Coordinates involvement of company personnel to meet performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Interprets company policies, objectives, and operational procedures to staff.
  • Practices and adheres to AOC's Code of Conduct and Mission and Values.
