Department: CC209047 Physician Administration Job Description Summary: Position Responsibilities Oversees the clinical operations of the employed physician practices. Maintains the objectives and strategy for the department and ensures they are linked to the Medical Center's objectives and strategies. Responsible for training, competency and coordinating all clinical duties for the non-physician staff. Ensures consistent communication will all staff, including administrative staff and physicians. Responsible for the maintaining all clinical policies and procedures up to date. Oversees physician practice clinical staffing recruitment and onboarding to insure levels are adequate to operate appropriately. Ensures practices are compliant with all regulatory guidelines. Responsible for maintaining all appropriate licenses, accreditations, correcting any issues in a timely manner. Develops relationships with external entities for the purpose of identifying additional volume and services opportunities. Oversees and develops the clinical staff in all the practices. Works proactively with other departments toward strategic initiatives and goals. Develops content along with management team for monthly meetings with Office Coordinators to share information and create educational opportunities.
