About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Director, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Opportunity Details: Oversee relevant acute inpatient service functioning. Supervise and coordinate inpatient leadership. Liaise with other Departments like the CPEP, Medical Inpatient, and ED, and transfer to other facilities. Teach and supervise Psychiatry trainees and medical students. Monitor workload and work assignments and effect staff and program changes to ensure highest quality of patient care.

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Active and unrestricted New York State Physician License.
  • At least 3-5 years of education, training, and/or experience in psychiatry services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee relevant acute inpatient service functioning.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $303,000 based on 40 hour work week.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $333,300, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
