Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA). Your Future Team The Advisor Products and Enablement team drives the vision, strategy, and success of our products from concept to adoption. This team collaborates across departments to define product requirements, prioritize development efforts, and ensure alignment with business goals. In addition, they empower internal teams and advisor practices through product training, resources, and go-to-market enablement to ensure effective use and understanding of our solutions. Together, they bridge strategy and execution to deliver impactful, scalable products that meet client and advisor needs. The Director, Centralized Investment Management Platform will work closely with traders, technology partners, and compliance teams to deliver robust, scalable, and compliant trading solutions. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge in trading workflows, electronic trading systems, and financial markets, and excels at translating trading desk needs into technology solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience in trading platforms, electronic trading, or financial markets technology.
  • Strong understanding of trading workflows, FIX protocol, OMS/EMS systems, market data, and risk management tools.
  • Proven track record of building trading platforms that improve execution quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Analytical and data-driven, with experience setting KPIs and measuring adoption.
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology teams.
  • Comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the product vision and roadmap for trading tools
  • Collaborate with traders, compliance, and external technology vendors to gather requirements and prioritize trading platform enhancements.
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: business case development, requirements, design, testing, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization of trading tools.
  • Ensure seamless integrations with trading systems including OMS, EMS, FIX protocol, market data feeds, and risk management platforms.
  • Partner with compliance, operations, and technology teams to ensure regulatory compliance and build scalable trading workflows.
  • Develop success metrics for trading platform performance, monitor usage, and continuously improve execution quality and system reliability.
  • Communicate product progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes to executive leadership and trading stakeholders.

  • Base salary of $150,000-$170,000 plus discretionary bonus (exact base salary amount will be dependent on experience)
