About The Position

Manages and coordinates the activities of team members engaged in the processing
of instruments for use in the Operating Rooms of SRH and other departments of
the health system. Coordinates the availability of vendor/loaner inventory.
Oversees the procurement of supplies through various inventory management
systems. Supervises the quality control procedures for monitoring and recording
of various decontamination and sterilization equipment and processes. Performs
any other job related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Director.

Requirements

• Diploma in surgical technology from an accredited program with certification in Surgical Technology (or experience practicing as a Surgical Technologist in a healthcare setting prior to 2008) and/or a certified central supply technician program with associated certification.
• Ability to ensure compliance with SRH policies and standard work as well as industry standards and guidelines such as AAMI, AORN, and IAHCSMM.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in perioperative environment.
• Experience in inventory management and use of related software applications.
