The School of Communication seeks a faculty member to lead the Center for Communication, Culture, and Change, as Director. This is a tenure eligible position, at the rank of Associate or Full Professor, in Communication. The position will start August 15th, 2026. The Center for Communication, Culture, and Change (4C) focuses on promoting positive social change through communication research, practice, and evaluation. The Center serves as a valuable venue benefiting students and faculty through collaborative and compelling scholarly and creative projects that address contemporary challenges. This focus stems from the premise that communication is a transformative practice and a powerful tool for catalyzing social change that transcends cultural barriers and crosses global boundaries. The mission of the Center’s research and creative portfolio is to advance the field of communication by contributing original, socially relevant, and impactful creative activity and research. The School of Communication is a leader in advancing knowledge and practice across communication disciplines. The School houses five departments—Communication Studies, Cinematic Arts, Interactive Media, Journalism and Media Management, and Strategic Communication—and is home to state-of-the-art facilities, innovative research centers, and an internationally recognized faculty.
