Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in Category Management/Sales Analysis
  • Between 3-5 years of experience in analyzing market data, pricing strategies, negotiating with suppliers
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerBI
  • Experience with Syndicated Data preferred

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Marketing, Communications, Economics, or related field of study

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive category management strategy to drive category and brand growth within your area of responsibility.
  • Serve as the category thought leader, influencing internal teams and external retail partners with data driven recommendations.
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on consumer, shopper, and market trends as well as syndicated data to uncover growth opportunities and deliver compelling category stories that influence action.
  • Lead as a strategic partner to retailers, delivering actionable category insights, shelving recommendations and pricing strategies to optimize performance
  • Work cross functionally with Merchandising, Sales and Shopper Marketing to align on category growth initiatives, and provide guidance on assortment optimization, pricing strategy and promo planning.
  • Lead and mentor a team of category managers/analysts, fostering a high-performance and insights driven culture.
  • Onsite presence to support the sales team and present category information to retailer partners
