Reporting to the Executive Director of the Career Center, the Director of Career Development & Campus Integration is responsible for the vision, strategy and implementation of a comprehensive and scalable career development operation that elevates the visibility, reputation, influence and impact of the Career Center among students, staff, faculty and alumni. This manager-level position provides direct supervision and expert level of guidance to the Career Development & Campus Integration team, administrative staff and student employees and is responsible for a portfolio of technology, systems, programs, events and services designed to not only engage students in the career and professional development and life design process but also to activate the university network and ecosystem in support of students’ career and professional development and social and economic mobility. This position reviews performance and makes assignments and independently makes decisions impacting functions within their scope. The Director will actively seek approaches to expand, scale, and integrate the Career Center’s reach across campus by developing and deepening relationships and partnerships with administrators, faculty, and staff in support of students across all undergraduate programs as well as the graduate programs of College of Arts & Sciences, School of Engineering, School of Education and Counseling Psychology, and the Jesuit School of Theology. The Director oversees the delivery, marketing, and content of all career development and campus integration systems, initiatives and programs within their scope. The Director must be fully capable of providing full career development and campus integration program service offering, including individual career advising and vocation discernment services, and may also perform the duties of the Executive Director in their absence.
