About The Position

The Director of Cardio-Oncology at Cedars-Sinai will lead the development of a world-class cardio-oncology program, focusing on clinical, academic, and research responsibilities. The role requires an experienced clinician-scientist with expertise in cardiovascular disease and cardio-oncology, aiming to enhance patient care through innovative treatments and research initiatives.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD with training and/or experience in cardiovascular disease and cardio-oncology.
• Certification from the international cardio-oncology society or at least 3 years of dedicated experience in practicing cardio-oncology.
• Board certified with the ABIM in cardiology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted California license as a Physician.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for California.
• Meet credentialing and privileges criteria.
• Eligible for appointment to Associate Professor or Professor academic rank in CSMC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional collaboration abilities with partners and staff.
• Proven knowledge and success in clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive cardio-oncology program.
