About The Position

The Director of Cardiac and Vascular Services functions under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, AVP Operations or Designee. This leader supervises all Cardiac Catherization, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Admission and Recovery Units, Vascular Institute, Cardiac Diagnostics and Stress Lab staff to ensure all procedures and cases are performed efficiently and appropriately in accordance with established policies and procedures. The Director is responsible for performing a wide variety of management responsibilities relative to scheduling, appropriate staffing, budget development, compliance, physician satisfaction, employee engagement, strategic planning, marketing, performance improvement and clinical trials oversight. Other responsibilities include achieving quality outcomes and customer / patient satisfaction in a fiscally responsible manner. The Director performs job functions utilizing independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative with ability to interact and direct successful operation within multidisciplinary specialty physician groups

Requirements

  • Prefer a graduate of accredited School of Radiologic Technology School of Registered Nursing
  • Baccalaureate Degree
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Health or Business Administration
  • Master's Degree completed within one year of position start date
  • ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography or RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
  • BLS - Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
  • Minimum 7 years ten (10) years of experience in healthcare as an RN Required or ARDMS, ARRT (R) (N) (MR) (CT) (US) Required or NMTCB CNMT Required and Minimum 3 years to five (5) years of progress operational leadership in an Assistant Manager or Manager role Required or Experience must include broad knowledge in cardiac and vascular invasive services Required
  • The individual must be able to communicate and understand verbal and written English language and display a positive attitude.
  • Organizational skills that enable the individual to react and perform under stress and emergency situations and to manage two to three activities at one time on an on-going basis
  • Management skills to effectively lead employees in a task-oriented environment, time management skills to meet scheduled and non-scheduled operational deadlines, analytical skills to prepare and manage budget.
