About The Position

The Director of Business Systems Analysis at Webster Bank is responsible for leading and defining user business and functional requirements for various enhancements and projects. This role involves complex production support, root cause analysis, and the implementation of technology business solutions. The director will assist business units in achieving their objectives by evaluating and designing efficient solutions, coordinating testing, and serving as the primary liaison between application vendors and end users.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technology business analyst work.
• Experience in IT application support is required.
• PMP or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher preferred.
• Familiarity with data analytics preferred.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degrees (Associates, Bachelor's, and/or Master's) preferred.
• Experience with agile process management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and define user business and functional requirements for enhancements and projects.
• Assist and lead business units in achieving their objectives by evaluating and designing application configurations.
• Coordinate testing to ensure proper performance and create diagrams and flow charts.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the application vendor and end users.
• Identify and evaluate operational problems, troubleshoot, and facilitate suitable solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for operations and security audits.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures.
