The Director of Business Strategy & Transformation will support and lead various aspects of strategic planning, business optimization, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that enable scalable growth in a fast-paced software environment. This role partners closely with executives and functional leaders to aid the business in defining long-term strategy, enhance operational performance, and ensure organizational alignment. You will translate high-level ambitions into actionable plans, lead complex cross-functional programs, and drive a rigorous business performance review rhythm across the company.

  • Strategic Planning & Business Growth Support the company's annual and multi-year strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment across product, go-to-market, and operational functions.
  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer analysis to inform strategy and investment decisions.
  • Evaluate, support new growth opportunities—including new markets, business models, and partnerships—and develop well-supported business cases.
  • Support inorganic and VC backed activities as needed
  • Facilitate scenario planning and strategic prioritization to guide executive decision-making.
  • Strategic Business Review Planning & Material Management Drive planning, coordination, and development of quarterly and annual business reviews (QBRs/ABRs) with executive leadership.
  • Develop, refine, and manage high-quality strategic review materials (presentations, dashboards, narratives) that clearly communicate insights and progress.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent review cadence and governance model across departments.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, Sales, and Customer Success to synthesize insights into cohesive performance narratives.
  • Continuously improve processes and standards for strategic review materials and reporting.
  • Transformation & Operational Excellence Support the design and oversight of enterprise-level transformation programs spanning operating model design, GTM alignment, process optimization, governance/compliance programs, and scaling initiatives.
  • Identify and address operational inefficiencies with data-backed improvement plans.
  • Build scalable processes and KPI frameworks that improve visibility, accountability, and alignment.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making in partnership with analytics and FP&A teams.
  • Program Leadership & Change Management Support and lead as needed, cross-functional teams to deliver strategic initiatives on time and with measurable outcomes.
  • Develop clear, compelling executive-level communication, program updates, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Guide organizational change management efforts, ensuring adoption of new processes, tools, and operating models.
  • Promote alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.
  • Financial & Business Performance Management Partner with Finance to support and assess performance against strategic and operational targets.
  • Identify leading indicators and trends to drive proactive business decisions.
  • Support resource planning and investment prioritization with strategic insights.
  • 10+ years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, or business transformation (software/SaaS strongly preferred).
  • Proven success leading strategic planning cycles, business reviews, and creation of executive-ready materials.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic insights and business narratives.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and executive stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a constantly evolving, fast-paced business environment, balancing strategic perspective with hands-on execution.
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives across complex organizational landscapes.
  • Experience with SaaS metrics, product-led growth, or enterprise software operations.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree.
  • Familiarity with OKRs, Agile methodologies, or modern operating model frameworks.
