We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Revenue Cycle Business Process Consultant to join our accomplished team. The Director of Revenue Cycle Business Process Consultant is a pivotal leader within the McKesson Revenue Cycle Leadership team. This role involves closely collaborating with Practice, Network Support, and Revenue Cycle stakeholders to enhance and standardize revenue cycle processes across our network. The ideal candidate is an expert in change management, process improvement, and healthcare leadership, with a passion for innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.
  • Expertise in Revenue Cycle Operations, both patient-facing and non-patient-facing.
  • Proven change agent with DX Experience in transformation.
  • Strong background in coaching others in process improvement frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and workflow development.
  • Skilled in data analysis, including identifying sources, gathering, and analyzing data relevant to process changes.
  • Billing system platforms - athenaIDX strongly preferred.
  • Oncology billing including medical & radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging, lab, etc. preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Athena IDX (Centricity Business) and Centricity Practice (G4).
  • Preferred experience with iKnowMed (G2).
  • Six Sigma Certification - Preferred.
  • Project Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Practice Operations and Revenue Cycle leadership to champion and implement change management initiatives.
  • Assess revenue cycle performance in accordance with set goals and objectives, identify gaps, and create and implement action plans to close these gaps.
  • Lead and facilitate complex meetings, presentations, and training sessions for diverse audiences across all business levels.
  • Establish standards and processes to ensure continuous improvement in the revenue cycle.
  • Work with corporate teams to spearhead innovation in new technologies, payment models, and practice management system advancements.
  • Identify revenue cycle external benchmarks and best practices.
  • Provide crucial support for system training initiatives, curriculum development, and practice management system transitions/upgrades.
  • Act as a key resource for new business integrations and develop comprehensive workflow documentation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Practice Operations and Revenue Cycle Leaders, offering insights and guidance to improve operations.
  • Oversee and communicate the outcomes of process improvement projects and initiatives to management and the Executive Leadership Teams.
