About The Position

Join our Best-in-Class Finance Team as a Director, Business Planning and Analysis (BPA), where you'll drive the growth of US products by delivering innovative solutions in forecasting, accounting, compliance, and project management. In this strategic role, you'll provide ongoing financial and operational recommendations to the Product General Management (GM) Team, helping maximize product impact and accelerate value creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in finance, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar environment, including FP&A and project management.
  • Experience in Commercial Business Planning & Analysis (BPA).
  • Prior experience with SAP preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to present effectively to business leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the relevant Product General Management Team, respective General Manager, Product Strategy Lead, Business Excellence lead and cross-functional members, as appropriate, to establish forecasts for the target, in-year updates and longer-term projections.
  • Provide thoughtful leadership and influence executive-level decision-making through deep analytical insight into core business decisions.
  • Structure and communicate complex, ambiguous and potentially challenging business issues to advise and challenge the team.
  • Contribute on matters beyond Finance.
  • Lead monthly and quarterly performance narratives with relevant Product team(s) to drive understanding of financial performance and assist in Investor Relations meetings and deliverables as needed.
  • Drive fully cross-functional integrated planning processes for sales and direct external costs through operational excellence, strategic influencing, and financial leadership to the overall Product team.
  • General oversight of all aspects of Product P&L including sales and direct external costs.
  • Develop suitable resource allocation strategies with GM team, ensuring that investment is used optimally, consistent with the US Enterprise strategy, and directly aligned with internal marketing mix models.
  • Lead 1-2 BP&A associates of varying levels of experience by coaching and providing technical training and feedback to optimize performance.
  • Simplify, automate and integrated financial planning processes across functions.
