About The Position

The Business Operations and Enablement team plays a critical role in driving operational excellence and enterprise-wide transformation. We design and implement strategies that streamline processes, empower teams, and ensure organizational readiness for the future of retail. As the Director of Business Operations and Enablement, you will lead high-impact initiatives that improve performance, strengthen execution, and enable sustainable business transformation across Walmart's operations. You will partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver programs that simplify work, enhance associate engagement, and enable scalable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related area and 7 years' experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area OR 9 years' experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree (MBA or related field).
  • Certification in Change Management (Prosci, ADKAR, or equivalent).
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation or enablement programs within a Fortune 500 organization.
  • Proven track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering continuous improvement cultures.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing business enablement and change strategies that align with Walmart's strategic priorities.
  • Identifying and resolving process improvement opportunities through data-driven insights and collaboration.
  • Partnering across business units to integrate enablement initiatives into operational and strategic planning.
  • Providing strategic direction to project and training teams to ensure business readiness and alignment with key objectives.
  • Overseeing enterprise programs that drive measurable business impact and associate adoption.
  • Leading development of implementation plans, documentation, and training materials for large-scale initiatives.
  • Managing education and awareness efforts for senior leaders and key stakeholders to support change adoption.
  • Attracting, developing, and retaining top talent across enablement and transformation functions.
  • Building communication plans that promote understanding, alignment, and adoption across all levels of the organization.
  • Modeling and promoting Walmart's standards of integrity, ethics, and our Open Door culture while sponsoring community outreach initiatives.
