About The Position

Walmart Marketplace is hiring a Director of Seller Risk and Compliance Communications to uphold our high standards and deepen trust with customers and third-party sellers. In this pivotal role, you'll develop and oversee a comprehensive compliance communication strategy. This includes educating sellers on our policies, guidelines, and standards, anticipating potential risks areas, preparing proactive communication plans for proactive compliance-related issues and evolving how we communicate policy updates, violations, and compliance requirements to sellers—empowering them to succeed on our platform.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading issue, crisis, or compliance communications.
  • B2B experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making, channel optimization, and marketing analytics implementation.
  • Deep expertise in building holistic communication plans, including system-automated messaging.
  • Strong leadership and partner relationship management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Merchandising, Site Operations, Business Management, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead communications on compliance guidelines, policies, standards, and enforcement, including system-automated and real-time messages.
  • Develop effective strategies to ensure sellers understand and meet Walmart's requirements throughout their lifecycle.
  • Define and optimize cross-functional workflows for urgent issue management and standard compliance communications.
  • Evolve real-time and evergreen communication methods for policy changes, violations, and resolution pathways; establish success metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Advise senior leadership and cross-functional partners to maximize seller compliance and support; serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for sellers and customers.
