About The Position

The Director of Business & Operations at Aim For Wellbeing is responsible for leading and managing a diverse team of healthcare professionals and support staff within a functional/integrative medicine practice. This role involves strategic planning, operational execution, and collaboration with the network to ensure the growth and efficiency of the practice. The Director will oversee budget development, staff management, and compliance with healthcare regulations while fostering a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare environment, with significant experience in physician practice management or ambulatory operations.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations impacting healthcare delivery.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage direct and dotted line reporting relationships.
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to connect with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high performance standards within time and budget constraints.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in functional or integrative medicine practices.
  • Familiarity with healthcare marketing strategies and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a mix of services including medical providers, chiropractors, massage therapists, and support staff.
  • Develop and execute operational and strategic plans for the growth of the practice.
  • Facilitate communication between physicians and leadership teams to address concerns and align strategies.
  • Manage capital and operating budgets for the AIM program.
  • Monitor practice expenses and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Analyze productivity and financial performance of service areas.
  • Lead provider recruitment efforts and manage staff deployment to meet patient needs.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain necessary accreditations.
  • Foster a supportive culture and encourage open communication among staff.
