The Director, Business Intelligence, will provide senior leadership and strategic direction for business intelligence, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and technology initiatives. This role will focus on leveraging data and innovative technologies to enhance corporate efficiency, operational excellence, and informed decision-making, ensuring alignment with the organization's broader goals. The Director will oversee the development of advanced analytics frameworks, manage IT initiatives, and foster cross-functional partnerships to optimize technology investments and outcomes. Acting as a strategic partner to business leaders, this role will drive the adoption of data-driven solutions to improve organizational performance and resilience. Collaboration will be key, with the Director working closely with all business lines, the Business Intelligence team, and System Reliability. Maintaining strong relationships with Georgia System Operations Corporation IT and its leadership will be critical to the success of technology initiatives. The Director must have advanced knowledge of data analytics tools and frameworks, as well as expertise in leveraging data science methodologies (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics). The Director will be responsible for collaborating with IT on GTC's cloud computing framework and infrastructure, with an understanding of hybrid cloud environments and how to integrate them. The role will require an understanding of GTC's enterprise resource planning system and other business-critical systems (e.g., IBM Maximo). The Director will lead cybersecurity best practices and be responsible for compliance with required regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Critical Infrastructure Protection, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).
