The Director of Business Intelligence & Data Analytics at adidas America, Inc. is responsible for modernizing the company's use of sell-out data and analysis to enhance decision-making processes across the organization. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive business intelligence on sales performance, enabling data-driven decision-making, and improving data quality and governance. The director will work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for advanced analytics and ensure actionable insights are communicated effectively to stakeholders.

  • Modernize the company's use of sell-out data and analysis across relevant processes.
  • Deliver a single source of omni brand and channels business intelligence on sales performance reporting and diagnosis.
  • Enable fact-based performance management measurement and data-driven decision making.
  • Identify value-add opportunities for omni business performance insights through proactive dialogue with cross-functional business users.
  • Define timelines and cadences of business reporting in line with company data sharing principles.
  • Develop strategies and project plans for executing business requests.
  • Manage and improve data quality, coverage, timeliness, and governance with Tech and D&A teams.
  • Define key metrics and performance indicators with NAM SLT and business stakeholders.
  • Implement new reporting structures based on business KPIs and decision paths.
  • Develop and communicate best practices to maximize the use of omni reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for advanced data analytics across functions in collaboration with senior management.
  • Automate reporting using Power BI and other company tools.
  • Provide data insights through data visualization and statistical analysis.
  • Support the rollout of global/local big data use cases.
  • Develop new reports/dashboards for key initiatives and projects.
  • Enhance the organization's overall data capabilities and use of data.
  • Advise stakeholders on analytics value and KPI selection.
  • Ensure actionable recommendations are provided based on insights gathered.
  • Translate insights into engaging and digestible presentations.
  • Establish and maintain a strong stakeholder network to facilitate actionable insights.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
