About The Position
At USAA, we are on a mission to facilitate the financial security of millions of U.S. military members and their families. We are seeking a dedicated Director of Business Intelligence Analytics for our Marketing Data & Analytics team. This role is pivotal in providing strategic direction to teams on utilizing data from both internal and external sources to deliver insights to analysts and decision-makers. The position requires a strong leader who can manage a team responsible for collaborating with stakeholders and other data and analytical leaders to define data and analytic needs across various business functional areas. The Director will prototype solutions for displaying information based on business needs and provide consultation to users while leading cross-functional teams to address business issues. The Director will be responsible for the development and execution of the team's strategic execution plan in alignment with departmental, CoSA, and Enterprise plans. This includes creating and sustaining internal customer relationships through effective team execution and brand management. The role also encompasses performance management of direct reports, talent development, and career progression planning. The Director will ensure that the team delivers high-quality products that provide business value while adhering to regulatory, risk, and internal control compliance standards. Additionally, the Director will evaluate industry trends and best practices to integrate them into current processes, technology, and strategic plans. As a strategic partner and subject matter expert, the Director will consult and advise business partners on decision support solutions, encourage innovation, manage work prioritization, and assist with problem resolution. The role requires a strong focus on performance goals and the establishment of business-driven development plans for the team. The Director will also partner with IT to enhance USAA's core information delivery capabilities and assist process owners in retiring key UDAs. This position is based in one of several locations, including San Antonio, TX, and requires in-office presence four days a week, with no relocation assistance available.
