About The Position

The Director of Business Excellence at Philips will lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGT-D) team, focusing on enhancing operational excellence and driving performance improvements. This role involves strategic planning, training, and coaching leaders in Lean practices, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years relevant working experience in a global technology company, preferably in the Medical Devices industry.
• Leadership experience in business functions such as R&D, Operations, or Service is a plus.
• Proven track record in Lean/Continuous Improvement and Change Management.
• Ability to motivate and engage people, with strong networking skills.
• Experience working with all levels of the organization, from the work floor to executives.
• Ability to drive change with urgency and a bias for action.
• Capability to constructively challenge and create consensus for change.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy continuous improvement (Lean) activities to drive performance improvements.
• Support the strategic planning process and operationalize strategic initiatives.
• Influence management teams to improve their ways of working through training and facilitation of Lean practices.
• Train and coach leaders to embrace Lean Leadership and support CI competence development.
• Lead organizational change to improve quality, cost, cycle times, and delivery.
• Establish a mature Performance Management and Continuous Improvement capability across the organization.
• Build strong relationships within the strategic IGTD site to influence leaders and impact global business.
