As Director of Business Development, you will be a leader within the Customer facing Organisation to coach, support, and drive high performing culture to identify and win new businesses with assigned clients. Requirements

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 15 years experience in a customer facing role in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience - Minimum 15 Years in a Business Development or Sales role in the Semiconductor Industry.
  • Proven track record managing field teams successfully for at least 10 years.
  • Skills: Strategic Account Management, Negotiation, managing worldwide flex teams.
  • Travel - Up to 50%
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal

Nice To Haves

  • Proven track record across a diverse customer base spanning different end equipments.
  • Additional experience with US Automotive OEMs & Tier 1s is a plus.
  • Knowledge about semiconductor manufacturing and design processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Grow MIPS’ Business Development Aerospace & Defense and Robotics customer base
  • Grow & lead a team of Business Development & Field Application Engineers
  • Responsibility MIPS’ complete IP, Software and Custom Silicon portfolio
  • Negotiate business agreements at the executive level
  • Represent MIPS on trade shows & industry conferences
