About The Position

Nexxen is seeking a strategic, high-energy Director of Business Development to lead our US Publisher Sales team. Based in our New York City headquarters, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our omnichannel supply footprint, managing a high-performing team of BD Managers and a Team Lead. This role will be based in our NY office location Our team follows a hybrid schedule, working in the office three days a week and remotely for the rest. Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing are: As a leader at Nexxen, you will navigate the intersection of video, Display, In-app, and data, helping premium publishers maximize their yield through our unified tech stack. You aren't just managing a pipeline; you are architecting how Nexxen wins in a fragmented market. You will lead a team of hunters focused on securing long-term partnerships with top-tier web, app publishers.

Requirements

  • Experience: 8–10+ years in AdTech, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role specifically within Publisher Sales or Supply-Side Business Development.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem (SSPs, DSPs, RTB, Header Bidding) and the nuances of CTV and Video monetization.
  • The "Rolodex": A proven track record of existing relationships with premium publishers and media companies.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions for publishers.
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to work from our NYC office on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and scale a team of BD Managers and a dedicated Team Lead. You will be responsible for their professional development, quota attainment, and strategic account mapping.
  • Strategic Growth: Own the "Omnichannel" narrative. You will drive the adoption of Nexxen’s full suite of supply-side solutions across CTV, Linear, Video, and Display.
  • Pipeline Mastery: Maintain a rigorous sales process, from initial prospecting and technical discovery to contract negotiation and successful hand-off to Account Management.
  • Market Intelligence: Act as a feedback loop between the market and our Product team, ensuring Nexxen’s roadmap remains ahead of industry shifts (e.g., identity resolution, SPO, and privacy regulations).
  • C-Suite Engagement: Lead high-level negotiations with executive stakeholders at major media houses and publishing groups.
