Staffs and directs a sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. The Business Development Director establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of training and educational programs for customers and sales personnel. What You'll Do: Responsible for maintaining the highest quality sales team possible by continually ensuring the entire team is trained in all products/services provided Partners with Region leadership to establish strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area Responsible for achieving specified sales and gross margin goals while increasing market share with existing customers and growing new and active customers Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the sales forecast Motivate sales team to constantly improve its performance and customer interaction to help further company sales Strive to identify new business opportunities and new partnering relationships at the executive level Assist branches and customers with product and technical support.
