About The Position

As the Director, Business Analysis and Insights-Data, you will lead complex analytical initiatives that directly shape how Walmart manages and optimizes its Corporate Real Estate portfolio and workplace experience. In this role, you’ll partner with senior leaders to clarify goals, anticipate challenges, and define measurable success criteria. You’ll guide a high-performing team through advanced modeling, experimentation, and production-grade analytics, delivering insights and solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in authoring, developing, and leading a data-centric program.
  • Experience in planning and developing business data strategies, data standards, and policies, and defining key reporting capabilities for business metrics and KPIs.
  • A strong background in developing data-driven insights to support operational goals.
  • Proficiency in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence tools, and techniques.
  • Familiarity with Corporate Real Estate technology platforms such as BMS solutions, IWMS platforms, Space Management solutions, and/or Employee/Tenant mobile platforms.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities, including leading, mentoring, and developing a high‑performing analytics team while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and data‑driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, analytics, or strategy roles, with significant exposure to Corporate Real Estate, facilities, or portfolio management.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience managing analytical or technical teams.
  • Deep experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), data modeling, and analytics platforms.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives through data-backed insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 5 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
  • 3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
  • 4 years’ supervisory experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS Analytics, or related).
  • Experience working with IWMS or CRE technology platforms (e.g., Archibus, TRIRIGA, Nuvolo, Planon).
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, predictive modeling, or data science techniques.
  • Experience supporting global or large-scale real estate portfolios.
  • Consulting, Working on cross-functional teams or projects
  • Masters: Business Project Management - Project Management Professional - Certification, Six Sigma - Certification

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a transformative real estate data program strategy that aligns with and supports CRE objectives and informed decision-making.
  • Manage and enhance the data governance framework, ensuring compliance with data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Partner strategically with senior leaders to understand objectives, uncover business challenges, and shape data-driven strategies rooted in clear success metrics.
  • Define a set of products including datasets, insights, reports, and dashboards for delivery and use by CRE leaders and business stakeholders.
  • Develop advanced data analytics tools and AI-powered models to support strategic decisions related to property transactions and capital investments.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to align the data program with corporate initiatives.
  • Design and deliver training programs to deepen team members' understanding of the real estate data program.
