Budget Management is responsible for planning and monitoring the agency budget, processing payments for vendors and employee reimbursements, and monitoring financial performance by forecasting and reporting. The Director manages the unit. Under direction of the Chief Financial Management Officer, with wide latitude for independent initiative, judgment, and decision, the Director provides strategic oversight of agencywide budget operations, participates in the formulation, recommendation, and implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to budget, personnel actions, and reporting, and directs and manages PS and OTPS budgets across City, State, Federal, Capital, and grant funding sources.
