About The Position

Strategy is a driving force at Inizio Evoke. You'll have the opportunity to shape brands, partner with world-class creative talent, and influence how healthcare communications evolve. The Director, Brand Strategy is the day-to-day HCP strategic lead, responsible for partnering with clients and internal teams to create the brand vision, drive high quality thinking and work, and elevate the strategic product of the agency. This role blends brand stewardship, client partnership, and thought leadership to ensure our work is consistently grounded in insight and commercially powerful to deliver impactful outcomes. This is a remote opportunity, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant brand strategy experience, with significant experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences marketing within an agency environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in foundational brand strategy development to ensure the brand's purpose resonates consistently across communications and touchpoints
  • Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills that engage and influence decision-makers
  • A collaborative style with the ability to influence across disciplines and levels
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing, communications, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership & Brand Stewardship
  • Guide brand strategy across the brand's lifecycle, ensuring alignment to business goals, market dynamics, and evolving customer needs
  • Frame complex business challenges and identify where brand and communications can create measurable impact
  • Identify and shape organic growth opportunities within accounts
  • Client Partnership & Business Impact
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, confidently presenting strategic recommendations and influencing decision-making
  • Develop and lead high-impact strategy presentations and workshops
  • Collaborate to drive long-term brand vision while balancing immediate business demands
  • Agency Leadership & Collaboration
  • Champion creative excellence by translating strategic insights into inspiring briefs and actionable direction
  • Partner closely with internal team leadership to ensure seamless integration of strategy into breakthrough creative and execution
  • Elevate our strategic product by identifying opportunities to evolve storytelling, speed to insight, and thought leadership
