About The Position

The Director of BOKFS Operational Strategy & Innovation is responsible for overseeing critical areas within BOK Financial Securities and BOK Financial Capital Markets, including Institutional Operations, Retail Brokerage Operations, and Information Delivery. This role involves managing cross-organizational initiatives, leading a team focused on significant projects, and ensuring the Operations team is prepared for growth and regulatory changes. The Director collaborates with senior leaders to set strategic direction and optimize operational capabilities to maximize profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.
  • 10-15 years of Securities business experience or equivalent work-related experience of 16+ years.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Securities processes and procedures.
  • Ability to partner across disciplines and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a competent and professional manner.
  • Basic knowledge of systems supporting trading operations, including Broadridge Impact, MBS Expert, FICC MBSD and GSD, InTrader, Bloomberg TOMS, ICE, OpenLink, and NetxPro (Pershing).
  • Extensive knowledge of all types of Securities, particularly Fixed Income and equity securities, and their regulatory environment.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting and accounting systems.
  • Ability to interpret IT-related documents, such as data mapping, flow charts, and schematics.
  • Good PC skills, including knowledge of Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel applications.
  • Hold a FINRA Series 7 or MSRB Series 52, Series 63, and Series 24 or 53.

  • Set strategic direction and optimize operating capabilities to maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans with leaders to drive growth and profitability.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities for expansion.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance operational capabilities and market position.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing team, providing training and development.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders related to operations.
  • Manage process improvements and redesigns to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
