About The Position

The UHS HTM Manager is accountable for the UHS Healthcare Technology Management Program which includes leveraging healthcare technology and information systems to ensure patients, visitors, and coworkers an exceptional experience at UHS facilities. The HTM Manager drives all aspects of the UHS HTM program toward excellence. The HTM Manager has primary responsibility to implement and sustain all policies and procedures of the operational strategies for the HTM program for those facilities of responsibility. The HTM Manager uses local facility required organizational metrics and key performance indicators (KPI’s), develops local HTM KPI’s, and provides appropriate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting metrics meeting and/or exceeding expected deliverables for the assigned facility(ies). The HTM Manager provides direction, development and mentoring of the HTM staff at the facility(ies) of responsibility. The HTM Manager is responsible for all HTM fiduciary results and for all HTM required regulatory compliance for the HTM Program for the facility(ies) assigned.

Requirements

  • ACI Certification (CBET, CRES, CLES or CHTM) required.
  • Technical School, 2 Years College, Associate’s Degree, or Military required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience required.
  • 10+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience with healthcare technology management programs.
  • Ability to supervise subordinates.
  • Experience managing projects including device acquisition and installation.
  • Knowledge of medical equipment (manufacturers, models, modalities, capital planning, etc.).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements of medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local).
  • Advanced/Strong computer skills (proficient with Microsoft products, experience with CMMS products).
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
